My recipe is 4 parts bourbon (Maker's Mark perferably) to one part rosso vermouth, dash of Paychaud's bitters (Ran out of angostura one day and had to get Peychaud). Garnish with cherry or twist.
I love to use Maker's Mark, but I'm usually too cheap to get it. My dad would be appalled at the idea of mixing Maker's Mark with anything.
